Felipe SANDOVAL ZAMORANO

Counsellor, Permanent Mission of Chile to the World Trade Organization

Felipe Sandoval Zamorano joined the General Directorate for International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DIRECON), in 2003. Ever since, his main focuss has been on bilateral  trade negotiations in the areas of services and investment. Aditionally, he spent 2 years as Head of the APEC Departament, before returning to the negotiations team in late 2009.

Begining on September of 2011, he has been appointed as Counsellor at  the Permanent Mission of Chile to the World Trade Organization in Geneva. Mr. Sandoval holds a Law  Degree   (J.D.) from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (PUC), and a Masters in Law (LLM) from Washington University (WASHU). He has lectured on issues related to international trade on services and investment both in Chile and overseas.
