Waturi Matu Ms. is a seasoned professional with more than 15 years’ experience in Intermediation (Lobbying and Advocacy), SME development, business advisory services, project management, monitoring & evaluation and management of grants and contracts. 

She is currently the Business Environment Director at Trademark East Africa where she directs and monitors programmes that focus on; supporting private sector/civil society-led policy formulation and improving trade for small traders (especially women). Activities supported by these programmes include facilitating public-private dialogue, networking, capacity development, working with women informal cross-border traders and other measures for business environment reform in East Africa.
