African Center for Economic Tranformation (ACET)

The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) is an economic policy institute supporting long-term growth with transformation of Africa’s economies. Headquartered in Accra, ACET keeps a core staff of about 30 from every sub-region of the continent plus the diaspora. ACET's vision is that by 2025 all African countries will drive their own growth and transformation agendas, led by the private sector and supported by capable states with good policies and strong institutions.

ACET has conducted 20 agricultural value chain studies across 5 African countries to get deeper insights and is currently undertaking a two-year Africa Agricultural Transformation Report that will point to interventions needed to make agriculture a transformative engine of development.
