CBI - Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries

On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI) contributes to sustainable economic development in developing countries – including LDCs - through the expansion of exports from these countries. Since its establishment in 1971, CBI’s role in this area can be defined as a partnership in development, as we are engaged in providing export coaching, training and strategic market(ing) intelligence to SME exporters, business support organizations and policy makers to enhance the trade compliance of SMEs in developing countries.
